The Martyrdom of Donald J Trump

The United States survived a sacking of its Capitol for only the second time in its history, the last being 24 August 1814 orchestrated by Irish-born, British Major General Robert Ross who put a torch to the buildings of the US government and its military including the Capitol, the Presidential Mansion (we would call it the White House today), and a great number of other buildings.

His role in that victory was highly celebrated though he himself would be killed by American sharpshooters in the Battle of Baltimore. Karma is a bitch and should be.

Things I Don’t Care About

I saw something over on that Facebooger place some time ago and it motivated me to consider what things I don’t care about. Here they are — well, just ten:

 1. The opinions of actors and celebrities — I don’t care WTF you think about anything. Sorry. Most of y’all have deficient high school educations. Why would I care? Sorry. I don’t care.

Predictions Year 2021

This last year, 2020, has been a bitch. What will the next year hold? Here they come — predictions 2021!

Pandemic

Here is what will happen with the Pandemic in 2021:

 1. The Pandemic will be in the rear view mirror by the end of June 2021 meaning those who want a shot of vaccine will have had one.

Dr. Fauci will start to wear Dr. Birx’s scarves to work.

We will all get vaccine ID tattoos or piercings, but there will be no Voter ID card. No, sir.

 2. It will be revealed that China made the damn virus stuff — no baloney about bats in seafood markets —  in a lab and it got away from them. Haha. No, really. It was an “accident,” not a field exercise.

Chinese President-for-Life Xi, at the United Nations annual meeting, says, “Ooops!” Everybody laughs whilst he shrugs his shoulders, cocks his head to the left, raises his eyebrows, extends his hands palms up, and looks sheepish for eight full seconds.

Ranger Regiment To Be Replaced By Social Workers

In a surprise move, President-elect Joe Biden — plain Old Joe from Scranton — announced he is disbanding the US Army’s elite 75th Ranger Regiment composed of three battalions and replacing them with a gaggle of social workers.

Rangers back from a recent deployment to Afghanistan wherein they killed some 2000 terrorists and Taliban.

Rangers, of course, lead the way when it comes to smoting America’s enemies and are an elite unit with an inspiring combat record in America’s wars since World War II.

Rebuilding Your Website

If you are a successful web based business there is a phenomenon that occurs with regularity at the end of your second year of operations — the necessity to rebuild your website from the ground up.

If you are not successful, you are out of business by then. Sorry.

You wake up and realize the following:

 1. In your rush to launch back two years ago, you did not have the opportunity to develop a website as good as you wanted.

Words I Do Not Love From 2020

I am trying not to use the word “hate” in my writings, thus I am focused on words “I do not love” from 2020.

I am very critical of the entire year of 2020 and honestly expect it to be recalled with all of us receiving a Mulligan. Go ask a golfer what a Mulligan is.

So, with only two more days in this bastard, vagabond, vermin ridden, flotsam, jetsam, detritus, vomitus, infected bed bug bite of a year, here are some works I do not love:

Bitcoin $30,000, Inviting Increased Regulation?

BBBBBBBBBitcoin has been on a run recently with its quoted price as high as $28,288.84 on 27 December 2020. The total value of all BTC is now flirting with half a trillion USD.

Huge consideration — there will only ever be 21,000,000 BTC. Constrained supply in the face of increasing demand? What does that suggest with an Econ 101 beanie on?

Highest price BTC, 27 Dec 2020 – $28,288.84

Lowest price BTC, 5 July 2013 – $65.53

If you have been into BTC for a long time, you likely have a big smile on your face.

The Rose Bowl Leaves California

Some time ago, we noted that many Californians were leaving the state to move to Texas.

Now, even that most-California of sporting events, The Rose Bowl, is moving to Dallas (Arlington).

When asked why they were moving, the Rose Bowl responded, “Don’t be that guy, the last guy to get the memo. We are going to Texas because we want to be free!”
