The Characteristics Traits and Skills of the Successful CEO — Decisionmaking

Big Red Car here.  Been enjoying cooler temps and a bit of rain here in the ATX.  We love a bit of July rain because it is so damn rare.  More on the way today.  Eeeehaw, ya’ll!

So The Boss was thinking about what makes a great CEO and he has focused on decisionmaking.  Hmmm, so, Big Red Car, what the Hell does that mean?

Well, Old Sport, listen and I will ‘splain it to you.

The Character Traits and Skills of the Successful CEO — Organization

Big Red Car here.  Another great day in the ATX and why not?  So we’ve been chatting about what makes a successful CEO, those critical character traits and skills that seem to be possessed by those rare beasties.  Things that others can emulate and copy on their way to success.  [Hey, “monkey see” “monkey do” is a legitimate personal growth strategy, haha, Big Red Car.]

C Level Employment Agreement — Parting Shots

Big Red Car here.  Another lovely day in the ATX.  Cool morning and hot afternoon.  Yesterday not so hot with a nice cloud cover and a bit of rain.

The Wisdom of CEO Coaching

Big Red Car here.  You may have experienced some access issues to The Musings of the Big Red Car in the last day.  This was a hosting issue that is reported to have been corrected.  The Big Red Car is sorry for any inconvenience

So, The Boss is still in Santa Fe and I am still hanging with the house sitter who is turning out to be a very cool chap, indeed.  I am getting a bit of running time that I did not expect but the young man did not know where the freakin’ gas tank fill fitting is located — BEHIND THE BACK LICENSE PLATE, Son.  Behind the freakin’ back license plate.

Anyway, a few calls were made and all is just fine.  I am filled to overflowing with regular — which is pretty damn hard to find these days — and we are on the road again.

The house sitter was wise enough to “consult” with The Boss and get a bit of coaching. Continue reading
