So The Boss is paying close attention the President’s new “economic offensive”. It is easy to see why many folks find it to be offensive. It is old wine in not very new bottles.

So The Boss is out early this morning but no work for a Big Red Car. The Boss won’t take a Big Red Car along unless there is sunshine in the forecast.

So the house sitter runs the snot out of the Big Red Car last night but almost forgets to fill me up with gas — petrol to you Brits. The kid forgets to gas me up. The Boss is going to hear about this, you can bet on it. I limp into the gas station and finally get filled up after the kid finally finds my gas tank behind the license plate. Where do they get these kids from?
Big Red Car here. Kind of a gray and gloomy day in the ATX but big doings nonetheless.
The President is in Dallas for the opening of the George W Bush President Museum and in Waco for the West explosion memorial. A high point and a low point.
These big happenings sometimes obscure the elegant simplicity of handling day to day affairs — such as doing the normal and mundane things that business folks do all the time — controlling expenditures. Cutting costs.
Big Red Car here. Well, it is early and I am not sure what kind of day today will bring. It is a Thursday and The Boss is looking forward to the Final Four this weekend. Who is going to win?
