Big Red Car here. Cold day in the ATX. Nice crisp, bluebird day. What a breath of fresh air.
Spring is right around the corner. This morning when The Boss and I went out for coffee, I saw some azaleas starting to blossom. We are about 3 weeks from azalea time.
Big Red Car here. The Boss was up early this morning. He got an email from a pal asking about my post in regard to the Old Economy >>> New Economy transition — link — and the pal wanted to have a concrete example of how this would impact, say, marketing organization.
So here goes.
Big Red Car here. The Boss is a guy who likes a checklist. A programmed way of getting stuff done.
If he loves a checklist, he simply adores a process document or flow chart.

So The Boss gets a bunch of emails in regard to the post about Performance Appraisal. He gave away a free exemplar — a form — which showed how he used to do this years ago. You can get one at that blog post or later on in this one. Don’t fret. Useful free stuff coming your way.
Big Red Car here. The Boss was visiting with a young CEO friend of his — Voomly client actually — about all things “personnel” and the subject of performance appraisal came up.

The Boss up very early taking Perfect Daughter to the airport — no top down this morning — to return to NYC.
Big Red Car here. First, let me admit right up front, I have a drinking problem. I drink gasoline. Regular when I can get it. But, yes, the Big Red Car has a gasoline drinking problem.
One of The Boss’s favorite songs is Pancho & Lefty sung by William Nelson and Merle Haggard. Favorite line — “breath as strong as kerosene” — will catch your attention.
