Today we learned that the Governor is contemplating deploying 1,000 National Guard soldiers to assist in securing the western half of the border, an area of big ranches and thin law enforcement.
Big Red Car here. Yes, it is boringly the best time of year in the ATX. Sigh. We’ve got it so good that I am embarrassed for myself.

Big Red Car here. Well today is going to be a beauty in the ATX. Bit of a chill in the air at 60F this morning and maybe as low as the 40’s tonight. I am predicting the first wood fire of the season tonight. Haha, it is finally Fall in Texas. And it is glorious.
So The Boss is talking to one of his CEO clients and they are having a lively chat. On the way home, The Boss is thinking about one of his favorite traveling companions.
Big Red Car here. Well the rain has stopped but it’s going to be a cool and humid day in the ATX. Hey, we like cool in July and who doesn’t?
So The Boss is out early this morning but no work for a Big Red Car. The Boss won’t take a Big Red Car along unless there is sunshine in the forecast.
