Big Red Car here. Bit foggy here in the ATX, unusual but it’s going to be in the low 80’s later today. The Boss is still in Idaho but he’s driving down through Windy Wyoming to Steamboat Springs. Once he gets up there, it can be a fight to get him to come home. This remote working is empowering.

Big Red Car here. Hey, the Big Red Car is very, very sad. Everyone is gone. I’m stuck with the housesitter and it’s too damn cold to take a ride. Usually I can talk the housesitter into anything — yes, ANYTHING — but it’s 40F and he’s not budging from the fire. Brat.
I wonder if I’m suffering from post holiday depression. I think there is such a thing, no? Well at least it’s going to be 70F by the weekend. I can wait on it.

So, The Boss was talking to one of his brilliant CEOs and they got on the subject of the founding team for a startup. The discussion took an interesting turn.

Speaking of a bit of heat, the issue of all things race has been heating up since the Zimmerman murder case verdict. In case, you have been living in a garage and have not been paying attention, Zimmerman was famously acquitted of a charge of second degree murder of Trayvon Martin. A jury, having heard and evaluated the evidence, rendered a verdict of NOT GUILTY. Continue reading
