Donald Trump’s America First Policy — Isolationism?

It is still three weeks until Donald J Trump is inaugurated as President of the United States though the world seems to already have begun to operate as if he is the President. That is more an indictment of the weakness of the faltering health of our dementia afflicted President.

One of the criticisms of President-elect Donald J Trump is that he is an isolationist. The evidence used to substantiate that criticism is his stated policy of “America First!” Continue reading

Budgeting — The Avoidable Train Wreck

The morons in the US Congress just conducted the latest version of the Sky Is Falling budget crisis. It was predictable, boring, and completely avoidable.

How avoidable, Big Red Car, how?

Simple the Congress could just do their damn job for a change. Let me explain.

First, the US Congress is the laziest, well paid public institution in the entire country. A US Congressman will work for 112 days during which the Congress is in session. Think about that — a full time job in which you work 112 days.

In approximately seven hours in Atlanta at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium (seating a measly 71,000 fans), the Georgia Bulldogs will welcome the Texas Longhorns to the championship game of the Southeastern Conference.

This is Texas’ first season in the SEC and earlier this season Georgia played Texas in Austin at Darrell K Royal Memorial Stadium. The crowd was the largest to ever see a game at that stadium and Georgia prevailed handily with the final score 30-15. That game sat the largest crowd to ever view a football game at DK Royal with more than 105,000 fans. Continue reading

Department of Government Efficiency — DOGE

I am quite excited about President to be Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency and even more excited to see that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are in a leadership role. This will be fun. [Admission: I am more excited about the Georgia v Texas SEC Championship game this Saturday at 4:00 PM, but I am still excited.]

Before we get too DOGEy, let’s review some history on the subject of bringing efficiency to the Jabba the Hutt Federal government. Buuuuuuurp! Excuse me.
