The Musings of the Big Red Car

Suppose YOUR Last Name Was Trump — What Changes?

Suppose you woke up this morning and you looked at your phone and whilst you slept your name had been changed to TRUMP. What would be different?

Trump Force One headed to Manhattan for arraignment of former POTUS Trump for misdemeanor “wrong fork with shellfish.”

You would be persecuted for a seven year old misdemeanor — the payment of hush money for a Non-Disclosure Agreement with a couple of slick chippies who may or may not have had an affair with DJ Trump over the last two decades — that a hapless District Attorney in Manhattan had breathed life into though the statute of limitations — two years — had long, long, long since tolled.

Your local DA — a Mr. Bragg — would then take that expired misdemeanor and tie it to an absurd violation of a Federal law that had been passed on by the Department of Justice, the Federal Election Commission, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and — this is a bit odd — Mr. Bragg earlier this year.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg who ran for office on the promise to indict former POTUS Donald J Trump. This man has released felons and refused to prosecute others, but has relentlessly pursued a seven year alleged misdemeanor against a chap named TRUMP.

Which brings us to the BIG QUESTION:

Would any of this political charade be happening if your name was NOT Trump?

If your name was Joe Ellerstadt would the DA in Manhattan be spending millions of dollars to indict you?

But, hey, what the Hell do I really know anyway? I’m just a Big Red Car and my name is not Trump.
