JLM, you call it like it is. The pretext of the revolt against the movie was such a bad idea because it gave that same idea to other cities to do the same thing and cause more dammage and dead people.

I think Rice was sent there to see how she would handle foreign policy since she was originally slated for that job.

Why send out the UN Ambassador to speak for State, CIA and Defense? Why?

Because she was a pliable stooge.

Could anyone at that instant in time have actually believed that this was a bunch of movie critics who happened by with a few mortars, RPGs and crew served automatic weapons?

Not bloody likely.

The whole thing is so ham handed as to be unbelievable.

If this were a movie script —- nnnaaaaaawwwwwww!

I fear an independent and skeptical press is a thing of the past.
