Very perceptive, BRC. Now you know how the Boss feels when dealing with the nonsense coming out of Washington. My '65 LeSabre fastback (may it rest in peace) would agree with you wholeheartedly. Nothing theoretical about cubic inches and horsepower.

.
BRC does not want to hear that his "engine is now smaller".

BRC comes from a time before men and male machines were in touch with their feminine sides. As BRC says: "Yeah, touch this!"

BRC wants everyone to know that his engine is a big as it ever was and all 327 cubic inches are available for your driving pleasure.

Some things never change.

BRC is very testy this morning. The sun is out and he is preparing for a bit of cruising, thank you very much.

You see, BRC, it's really very simple to understand. They count with their fingers. Therefore, unemployment has to be below 10. Unemployment above 10% would require growing more fingers. That's the only explanation that makes sense....based on their reasoning for not including unemployed citizens. (maybe they're not counting those people who helped everyone who "didn't" build their business on their own) Or, BRC, if you look at it in terms you can relate to, it's sort of like the size of your engine. Although you started out with a certain number of cubic inches, the fact that you don't continually use all that horsepower every time you go cruising, means your engine is now smaller (according to the BLS formula). On the bright side, you're saving energy and going green....although green is not your color. Anyway, BRC, hope that cleared it up for you.
