How Stupid Do They Think You Are? Very Stupid

By now, you have undoubtedly heard that the Mueller team — when approached by the Department of Justice Inspector General as part of his investigation into the predicate for the creation of the original counter-intel investigation that gave rise to the Mueller Investigation — informed the IG that there were 31 phones they had used by key players, but that were devoid of any information.

Wait, what?

This moron (Princeton undergrad, Columbia Law grad, Andrew Weissmann, Mueller Senior Counsel/Prosecutor) wants you to believe he forgot his passcode twice on two different iPhones and had no alternative other than to wipe them clean rather than deliver them to the inspector General. No phone records, no texts, no emails. Twice. Do you believe him?

This happened two years ago in 2017, but just came to light. The timing is a little murky. You will recall several important things:

The Congressional Mercy Rule — The Mueller Rule

If you watched the Mueller Congressional hearings — two of them — yesterday, you were treated to a spectacle — the incoherent and rambling testimony of a former giant. Robert Swan Mueller III looked remarkably docile. Embarassingly so.

What was painfully obvious was that former FBI Director Mueller had not read his own report. Ouch.

It is particularly hard for me personally to deliver this suggestion as I dig the guy’s toughness — Airborne Ranger Leatherneck, combat veteran, Bronze star/Purple Heart recipient.

So, I propose a new Congressional Rule. I call it the Mueller Rule.

The Mueller Report

Sigh, a friend who constantly goads me in regard to all matters pertinent to President Trump has threatened me with physical violence if the Big Red Car fails to take note of the Mueller Report. I will try to restrain myself from discussing much of the detail, but I will touch on the process.

Robert Swan Mueller III investigating President Trump’s McDonald’s selections.

First, I believe that most reasonable people will conclude, as did Bobby Mueller, that there was no evidence of Trump campaign Russian collusion. That is, of course, the genesis of the report — “Bob, go take a look at whether the Trumpies were in bed with the Russians. Do it in accordance with the Special Counsel statute.”

Two years later, we now have the Mueller Report.

The charge then morphed into an investigation of whether the President obstructed justice. The charge to look at obstruction was focused at first, but then ran far afield during the course of the investigation.

I take issue with the process. Let us map the process, shall we?

The Mueller Report

So, a pal calls me and gives me a bit of the red ass for my interview with Robert Swan Mueller III — “Say something serious,” he says. “It is a very important thing.”

Exclusive Robert Swan Mueller III Interview

I have written a bit, but not much on the entire Russian Collusion escapade. Punch in “Mueller” in the search box to the right of this post and you can read those posts.

So, in response to my pal, I will offer the following observations.

OK, so I tipped my hand a bit, didn’t I? But I have a serious observation or two.

Exclusive Robert Swan Mueller III Interview

Today, we have the great honor and high privilege of talking to Former FBI Director Robert Swan Mueller III after the delivery of his report to the Attorney General.

We caught up with Director Mueller at brunch after he went to church across Lafayette Park from the White House. Here he is trying to remember where he parked his car.

Robert Swan Mueller III – Prediction

Big Red Car here on a sunny Sunday morning. Ahhh, what a day. I have had an opportunity to think about and do some research on Special Counsel Mueller. I am predicting a very hard time for President Trump.

I took the trouble to read about the man, review his education, research his military service including his entire file, read his NFL report, watch some hearings at which he testified, and reviewed some things he had written other than the NFL report.

He is an interesting and complex man. One I would normally admire. In fact, I do admire him.

From that work, I conclude that President Trump is in a world of trouble.

Bottom line: SC Mueller is going to issue a report that will be short of a criminal indictment, but which will serve as grounds to explore impeachment. It is going to be a scathing report.

Mueller and the Russians – Huge Head Fake?

Did you say Russians, Big Red Car?

Big Red Car here enjoying the memory of Presidents Lincoln and Washington. Ahh, on Earth as it is in Texas.

I have been trying to stay away from the Russian – Trump collusion dialogue for a while, but the huuuuuuuuuge Mueller Russian indictment has me scratching my head.

Let me share a few thoughts with you, may I?

This guy, Vladimir Putin, is a former KGB guy. He runs Russia. He is a prick and a butcher.
