Big Red Car here on another warm August Texas day. On Earth as it is in Texas, y’all.
When you live in Texas — even if you’re originally from Detroit, like me — it’s hard not to be proud (obnoxious) about how great Texas is.
Here’s one more reason: Texas women entrepreneurs.
Turns out that Texas women are not just stunning beautiful but they are also incredibly prolific in . . . . . startups, new business startups. Don’t take my word for it; read about it right here.
Texas Women Are Growing Their Businesses at Twice the National Rate
The article goes on to say some interesting things:
1. Texas woman founded businesses are growing at twice the rate of all similar firms across the nation. Twice as fast!
2. There are more women-owned businesses in Texas than New York.
3. Texas women have created more jobs than New York women.
4. Texas women-owned business drive more revenue than New York women.
Not sure why everybody is picking on New York but that’s what the article said. Texas women are an entrepreneurial force to be reckoned with.
Howdy, folks, and welcome to Texas. Now get out of my way while I disrupt your world. Eeehaw, y’all!
So, please pardon my obvious pride when I say: On Earth as it is in Texas and go Texas women entrepreneurs!
But, hey, what the Hell do I really know anyway? I’m just a Big Red Car. Be good to yourself; you’ve earned it.
If theyd counted all the money Hill raised for her campaign, charity and all that she is owed from around the world for her favors, then, …, hmm …!
.
The unseemly phenomenon of the Clintons (the poor Clintons) feeding at the trough, stealing WH furniture, outrageous speaking fees, corrupt graft, foundation shakedown, pay for play, and clueless blatant “thumb in your eye” arrogance gives trailer trash a good name.
They are right there with the worst political corruption scandals.
It is not dependent upon what the meaning of the word “is” is.

I’m surprised that your view of Hillary is so high!
On “stealing WH furniture”, I can believe that with body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice of the utmost integrity and seriousness, she would explain that she merely borrowed the furniture for her home office as a way better to help Bill as POTUS. That is, she deserved the furniture for her home office because she was First Lady and also because she had an unpaid second job of working at home to help Bill, poor Bill, where she was really the one doing the work of POTUS while all Bill ever did was chase bimbos.
Finally, she planned and intends to return the furniture when she is POTUS.
Naw, she could come up with a better explanation than that!
One thing I’d like to know: How’d she raise, IIRC, $30 million quickly via mostly just “speaking fees”. Might there have been some other reasons for such lucrative fees?
.
One more reason to praise Texas women entrepreneurs — their success.

Haha, what a great story! Well played and thank you.

Chicago, Female startup city. More scalable startup female founder women here than anywhere else in the entire world.
.
Love your rising to the defense of Chitown — great place and only ten percent the size of Texas.
Not believing your utterance, Brother Carter.
But, hey, what the Hell do I really know anyway? I’m just a Big Red Car.

http://blog.startupcompass.co/the-2015-global-startup-ecosystem-ranking-is-live “Chicago, with 30% female founders, has the greatest percentage of women entrepreneurs out of the top 20 startup ecosystems.” NO defense, just data. Austin is awesome too-newly arrived on the list at #14. Chicago moved up three spots to #7. Bet neither stay there.
.
A percentage of a small number is still a small number. This is apples and Godzilla comparison. The issue in the blog post was all about GROWTH.
Still, we love Chicago. Is it for sale yet?
The big issue is performance wherein Texas women entrepreneurs are growing at 2X the national average.
On Earth as it is in Texas!
