Mike Bloomberg 2020 and Bloomberg LLC

I like Michael Bloomberg as a visionary businessman who built Bloomberg into an iconic brand and an uber successful company that employs 19,000 employees in 69 different countries. Big time winner!

Bloomberg, the company, is a first rate purveyor of financial information and a news organization.

Bloomberg, the person, is a extraordinarily successful businessman, philanthropist, and a politician who controls a media empire that reports on politics amongst other stories. They have a myriad of different distribution channels. They are a force in the news business.

Politically, Mike’s been a changeling Democrat who became an ideological Republican when it served his purposes, who in turn has become an Independent, who has now reverted back to his original roots becoming a Democrat in order to run for the Democrat nomination for President, in a still confused slate of nominees.

Flexible? Opportunist? Changeling? A man with liquid convictions? Yes to all, but no foul. He is no governing purist by philosophy.

He is a well known man though he has no real national political identification.

I did not particularly like his performance as Mayor of New York City or his manipulation of the system to win three terms. I do admire his spunk in getting the three terms. I like spunk.

Hunter Biden — Exclusive Interview

I was sitting here minding my own business — contemplating a new paint job — when my cell phone rang.

“Hello, Big Red Car, this is Hunter Biden. Heard you’ve been talking shit about me.” I could tell he was juiced up and nervous, had an edge to his voice.

I laughed as, in fact, I had not been talking about Hunter Biden. I noted a blog post I had posted back in October and directed him to  take a look at it.

Eric Ciamarella — The Whistleblower Identified

In the worst kept secret in the history of secrets, the world is pretending that the identity of Whistlebritches No 1 — Eric Ciamarella — is a secret.

In fact, he has been identified since the very beginning as exactly who anybody with any logic would have thought. Allow me to provide some background info:

Eric is a prep school and Yale grad who is a registered Democrat. He is an active Democrat and has been involved in assisting those engaged in oppo research during the 2016 Presidential election.

He works for the CIA and was detailed to the White House during the Obama admin wherein he worked for Susan Rice, National Security Adviser, and with Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan.

As it turns out, 33-year-old Eric Ciamarella had something to do with the whole “Russian collusion” meme. More about that later.

He is a smart guy with extraordinary language skills: English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Arabic. This — Yale grad, great language skills — is exactly the kind of guy the CIA recruits to be analysts.

In the White House, he was on the Ukraine Desk — logical, right? Speaks the lingo.

In 2017, Eric was sent packing back to the CIA when his fingerprints were detected on a number of leaks to the media. He was already known as a man who was a huge Trump critic, a vocal opponent of the very policies he was employed to advance, and a leaker who had provided classified information to media outlets that resulted in negative stories that unfairly damaged the Trump administration.

He was pals with other NSC employees of a similar ilk — anti-Trump — one of whom, Sean Misko, now works for Adam Schiff, the Chairman of the House Intel Committee who provided aid, succor, and assistance to Eric when he brought them his whistle to be blown.

So, your Big Red Car is here with the hot, big news: Hillary Clinton is throwing her hat into the ring and the ring is not going to throw it back.

That’s right. Hillary is in it to win it.

Republican Mark Sanford Is Running For President

I have never liked Mark Sanford — when he was Governor of South Carolina or when he was a Congressman.

You may remember him as the chap who found his soul mate in a woman from Argentina while he was inconveniently encumbered with a wife and a number of young children.

Really bad timing.

Miss Argentina dumped him. He had invited her to hike the Appalachian Trail — I may have garbled that story.

Universal Service

In addition to UBI — Universal Basic Income, a monthly stipend of $1,000 per month — Dem candidate Andrew Yang has begun calling for something he calls “universal service.”

What I understand he is calling for is that each American set aside either two or three years for service to the country either after high school or after college.

The Deep State — Hidden In Plain Sight

There is some controversy swirling about in Washington, the District of Columbia, pertaining to the President — this fellow Trump, Donald J Trump, guy who unexpectedly won the election back in 2016 — and the Congress. I think — check me on this — that the Democrats in Congress want to remove the President from office.

Odd sort of thing. We’re a year from an election. Why not let the ballot box do that?

Oh, well. But, I did stumble on something so unusual that I thought I needed to bring it to your attention.

It pertains to the Deep State and the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, this guy — Michael Atkinson.

 

WTF is the Deep State, Big Red Car?

The Deep State is an imaginary — maybe no? — layer of folks who have wiggled deeply into the corpus and organs of our government, fastened themselves thereto like barnacles, and pride themselves on outlasting any elected administration.

The President may serve for eight years, but the Deep State lasts forever. In this fashion, they pay lip service to the admin all the while executing on their own peculiar vision of how things ought to be.

Some say up to removing a President who threatens to wrest their power from them. It is true in all branches of the government.

So, one is forced to ask — Who is the Deep State? Where do they reside? Are they even real?

So, I bring to you the story of the Intelligence Community Inspector General, Michael Atkinson.

By all accounts, Mike is considered a great guy by his peers. More about that later.

Cut The Crap — Hunter Biden

Your Big Red Car hasn’t posted a “Cut The Crap” sentiment in a while, so here is one today on Influence Peddling.

Hunter Biden is the son of former Vice President and current seeker of the nomination of the Democrat party Quid Pro Joe Biden. [Please forgive me. I couldn’t help myself. I have never liked Joe Biden. I always thought his Amtrak, the Senator from MBNA shtick was obsequious. I also am very cool on Ted Cruz, Ben Sasse, Jeff Flake, and John McCain.]

Here’s Hunter taking in a basketball game with Dad and a pal of theirs. Who wouldn’t like this guy?

Anyway, unless you have been in some far away place — like the Ukraine, as an example — you probably have heard that Hunter Biden was named to the board of a Ukrainian natural gas company called “We Want Some Influence and Are Willing to Buy It at Full Price.” No, actually the company’s name is Burisma Holdings.

The Big Cheese at Burisma appointed Hunter Biden to the Board of Directors of his company and compensated him at the rate of $50,000 per month for a five year period — that, my friend is what called a “good” side hustle. Biden’s “company” also did some other work directly for the company deriving additional income.
