I used to have one pair of jump boots for dress and one for fatigues. I wore Corcorans with big lugged soles for the real field. The most comfortable boots were jungle boots.

But, amazingly they became comfortable. I still have them, and they still fit. But, the leather doesn’t hold a shine because I tore them up pretty good in recon drills. 12 o clock, impact. Boom.
