We are in day #1278 of Impeachment Trial #2 of Donald Trump as presented by Nancy Pelosi and Netflix with special guest appearances by Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer and their home boys, the US Senate.
Yesterday, we were treated to a splendid four hour round of questions in which Senators asked questions of both the House Managers (prosecutors) and the lawyers for former President Donald J Trump (defendant).
Beloved readers, China is spying on us whenever and wherever they can. Even President Biden has recently been heard to say, “China is going to eat our lunch!” This was after his recent chat with President Forever Xi of China.
Comes now the Confucius Institutes — Chinese government funded propaganda operations at American colleges and universities — which once totaled as many as 100 but are now down to 75 as college presidents recognize the danger these Chinese government entities represent.
There is no more powerful force on planet Earth (Mars is supposed to be the same) than love.
To fall in love, one needs a target of that affection which brings us to Austin By God Texas based Bumble. Bumble (and sister company Badoo) is a “dating app” but, dear reader, it is so much more than that.
Bumble made its public debut today. Here are some interesting facts.
1. Bumble’s Founder and CEO is Miss Whitney Wolfe Herd, a co-founder of Tinder (Tinder is owned by Match Group which trades at MTCH and is the 800-lbs gorilla in the space, so they thought).
Comes now our 50-50 US Senate with all ties decided by the President of the Senate, the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris.
Structurally, the Senate is the “saucer” intended to cool the heat of the House’s passions.
This goes back to an anecdote in which George Washington was having coffee with a newly returned from France Thomas Jefferson.
TJ did not like the idea of a second chamber for legislation. As they enjoyed their coffee, George Washington asked Jefferson why he had poured his steaming hot coffee into his saucer to which TJ replied, “To cool it.” [Did you realize that is how saucers were used?]
Look at this baby from Airstream. What is it going to take for me to put you in this ultimate WFH rig?
Let me leave this with you — Tom Brady’s writeup from his pro scouting combine out of college. He was drafted #199 in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft.
Here’s his pic.
This story is the composite of two persons, one in Austin by God Texas and the other in Savannah, Georgia.
It is a story of how entrepreneurship + hustle + just a dash of tech = wealth.
The core of the story is a guy who decided he wanted to do something to acquire wealth, so he started a mobile car washing operation. Has nothing to do with blockchain, crypto. Car washing.
He would want me to tell you that it is not a mobile “detailing” shop because he says he makes a lot more money washing a car for $35/each in 12-15 minutes than he could detailing a car for $200 over four hours.
