Big Red Car here on another glorious ATX, on Earth as it is in Texas, morning. Little late getting to the computer this morning.

Back in the day, I used to send y’all some Big Red Rules — rules for regulating your life and view of the world. When we blew through Big Red Rules X (twice as I recall), we shelved the project. Recently, I’ve gotten a lot of heat for some new rules and a redux of the old ones. So, here goes.

Big Red Rules X

Big Red Car here.  Had a big storm come through last night right at midnight.  Wind, rain, lightening.  It was very powerful.   There is something comforting about listening to a big storm from the safety of one’s warm, comfy bed, no?

Well, folks, I was out in the driveway drenched and freezing, so I hope you were thinking of me.  But, hey, enough whining — how about some Rules?

Big Red Car here.  So I put my Big Red Rules compilation on Scribd.com and got over 1,500 hits since yesterday.  They made me add some sections so it would look like a “professional” book.

Big Red Rules

Big Red Car here.  The Boss is out drinking coffee early this morning.  He loves the 7:00 AM meeting at Austin Java.  He gets a 3-shot cappuccino and is wired for the rest of the morning.

Me, you ask, I am in the driveway with my top up because it is cloudy and a bit rainy.  Rats.  But you have to follow the rules.  Speaking of rules, I have some of my own that I call the Big Red Rules.
