C Level Agreement — Compensation, Something Special

Big Red Car here.  Oh, just another great, sunny, warm day in  the ATX.  Got the assignment to drive down to Old San Antone yesterday unexpectedly.  The Boss had a last minute little crisis he had to deal with and since it was a nice sunny day, we went top down flying along Texas 281 through the edge of the Hill Country.

If you have never taken the “back way” to San Antonio and the Henley Cut, Old Sport, you are in for a treat.  On the way back [we had been at the Dominion Country Club on business out far northwest of town], we took the real back way up to Blanco and, my friend, that is some damn pretty country.  Right in the Hill Country and one of the most historic and scenic parts of Texas.  Old Comanche country.

It was something special and everybody has a bit of sun on their faces today.  Oh, yeah, had an excellent TexMex lunch at Barrio’s on Blanco Road — check it out.

Finding your authentic leadership style

Big Red Car here.  Hey, it’s raining early this morning in the ATX.  Well, we like a bit of rain.  Seems like a nice gentle rain falling on our homes and fields and Big Red Cars because I am parked on the freakin’ street, Boss.

OK, OK, I know that I am supposed to keep my place in all things and I will not start trouble but a bit of garage time would be greatly appreciated.

Conflict in Syria

Big Red Car here.  Early morning this morning with a coffee at 6:30 AM.  Hope to get the transportation assignment but truthfully sometimes a Big Red Car likes to sleep in a bit.

Yawn — oh well.  Hey this business in Syria is getting very serious and dangerous for the United States.  Let’s chat about this impending conflict in Syria, eh?

God Bless You, Rufie — We Will Miss You

Big Red Car here.  A very sad, sad, sad day in the ATX.  Rufus the Shih Tzu drowned today.  Rufie is dead and buried.  Oh, what a sad day indeed.

The Boss discovered him floating in the pool and tried to revive him but Rufus was gone.

The Boss dug a grave and buried Rufie under the Perfect Daughter’s and Son’s windows so he can safeguard the house for the rest of time.  It was sad duty indeed.
